We Offer Cheap But Quality CD Duplication
CD
Duplication
The CD duplication process uses Burners
or Copiers to burn audio or data content from your
master CD onto another CD. CD-R's or known in the
industry as recordable media is used for this process
that has a blue or green bottom surface. Pro Disc offers
a silver diamond CDR that has a silver bottom surface
that looks similar to a replicated CD. The bottom
surface is a photosensitive dye that a laser darkens in
places to create a digital code that can be read by the
laser in a CD Player. The Pro Disc Silver Diamond
recordable surface is available and usually cost a
little more than your regular CDR. Silver Diamond
CDR's are good replacement for those who want their CDR
to look like a CD-ROM. Duplication is
more cost effective for shorter runs, can have very fast
turnaround times and comes with various printing
options. Click here to check out some

CD Replication
CD Replication
is process that starts with a glass master, that is
mould and is stamped to create your CD-ROM. Your
CD is then pressed using the master stamp creating pits
in the surface and metalised to create the reflective
coating required for the reading of the pits by the
laser in CD player. A protective lacquer is added
to create a top surface suitable for printing. CD
replication has a higher set up cost with this process
and more suitable for larger runs. When
printing larger production runs it is more cost
effective to use offset printing and screen printing.
